FAQs

Q: Are there any costs for running an ad?
A: When placing your ad you will find a large list of
possible sale items. Simply select items from the list that you have in your sale. Enter the quantity of items for sale (required), and you can also include a detailed description (recommended but not required). If you select 100 items, your ad is FREE. 75 to 99 items cost $4.00. 50 to 74 items cost $8.00. 25 to 49 items cost $12.00 and 1 to 24 items cost $16.00.

Q: I have added my items to my ad and included quantities, but when I try to post my ad it says that I don't have any (or very few) items listed?
A: When listing items in your ad, close out of a category and then reopen that same category. The items you just listed should still be marked. If not, log out of the system and log back in and try again. If you are still having problems, log out and reboot your computer. Make sure you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer for your web browser.

Q: What happens if I have items for sale that I can't find in the list?
A:
The last three items in each category are labeled as miscellaneous. Pick a miscellaneous item in the category where you think your item should appear. Please include a description of the item so people know what it is.

Q: Do miscellaneous items count towards a free ad?
A: Yes

Q: Can I add additional items later and will I get a better discount?
A: You can add items after submitting your ad, but
you will not get an additional discount for doing so. You pay for your ad the first time it is submitted. It is recommended that you list as many items in your ad as possible, even if you add to your original posting. The more items you list, the more likely you are to have interested buyers go to your sale.

Q: How long do ads run?
A: When you place your ad you select the length of time you want the ad to run. The choices are 5, 7, 10, 14 and 21 days. If you want to have your classified ad run longer than 21 days, it will have to be renewed.

Q: If my sale gets rained-out, can I renew my ad?
A: Yes. You can renew your ad up to three times. To do so, login to your account, locate your ad, update the sale date and then re-post your ad.

Q: I'm having trouble creating an account and/or logging in.
A: Make sure you are using Internet Explorer as your web browser. The current version of this software does not support Firefox or Safari.

Q: What is Auto Notify?
A: When a visitor sets up their Auto Notify Agent, the Agent will send them an email every time an ad is placed that contains items that they are looking for.

Q: How long does the Auto Notify Agent remain active?
A: When setting up your Auto Notify Agent, the default setting is for 30 days, but you can set the Agent to be active for 60 or 90 days for NO EXTRA CHARGE. If you want the Agent to be active for 60 or 90 days, this must be selected at the time your Agent is setup. This can not be changed afterwards.

Q: Can the search criteria be changed after setting up my Auto Notify Agent?

Q: How much does the Auto Notify Agent cost?
